I had presumed I could ‘do it all myself’ on the net but an agent has experience and advice that is invaluable – saves time and money. Booking with an agent gives you one point of contact for all the details, and is not dearer than doing it yourself anyway! You were great at sourcing tours, hire buses, etc which took all the hard work out of it for me – I just had to choose & pay.

I was told about Ultimate Getaway from a Personal contact (Levin) and the experience was Really good. There are always things you would do differently or know in hindsight (eg moslem countries such as Dubai almost shut down during Ramadan – services are cut, restaurants closed, no alcohol served etc.) and that the cheaper tours are because either the hotels are less fancy or vehicles older/slower than the more expensive ones, so up to you to decide how much you value these things. Ours were just fine – nothing flash but more than adequate and lots of character. Felt like we saw some real Africa!

I would Certainly recommend Ultimate Getaway, having an experienced advice is invaluable and it was a big bonus not having to pay bank fees for each deposit, as I had to when I booked my own accommodation.
